I found an old DARK sideboard at AMVETS for $25. One of the leg supports was broken off so I managed to get it purchased for $19. It sat around waiting for repair and evaluation for 3 weeks, and now it is it's turn. I am naming it Peter....
I had a before picture, but cannot find it anywhere. I must have deleted it off of phone.
Here is the primed version - all these details were hidden in a black shoe polish color - you couldn't even see the details of the brass handles - that I did not feel matched the black iron scroll leg supports.
Hubby and I found a hammered pewter spray paint for the drawer pull and the leg supports.

I added the freshly painted handle and am painting the leg supports today! Woo hoo!
Added the leg supports - so these look just plain black on the photos - but they really are the same color and texture as the drawer pull. Another project completed!
